Bandai Spirits Action Base 5, Clear Plastic Model

The Action Base 5 is a clear plastic model stand designed primarily for Gunpla enthusiasts. Customer reviews indicate a generally positive reception, highlighting the stand's adaptability and aesthetics for displaying 1/144 scale models. Users appreciate the variety of posing options that the Action Base 5 offers, which allows for dynamic and diverse displays of their models. The stand's design promotes flexibility in positioning, meeting the needs of those who enjoy customizing their display setups. However, some users expressed concerns about the stand's visibility, especially for those looking for a more discreet support option. The structure is described as somewhat bulky, resembling a crane arm, which might detract from the overall visual appeal if one is seeking an unobtrusive stand. Additionally, some users noted that while the joint connections are initially robust, prolonged use may lead to deterioration over time, slightly impacting the stability of the models displayed. The stand is designed to handle models up to around 20 cm, but it may not be suitable for heavier kits that come with dedicated stands. Furthermore, the product's clear plastic does not achieve the high level of transparency some customers anticipated due to optical scattering. In summary, the Action Base 5 is ideal for collectors seeking versatility and a sturdy option for posing their Gunpla models. It’s a fun and straightforward assembly process that allows customization with other bases, making it a valuable addition for anyone looking to enhance their display with varied poses. **
