Bernzomatic Torches TS8000 Editorial Review

The Bernzomatic TS 8000 torch is a popular choice for melting precious metals and other uses such as small-scale metalworking. The torch features an adjustable flame, providing users with the flexibility to control the intensity of the heat. This feature is especially helpful for tasks that require a gentler flame, as opposed to a fixed high flame. Customers have noted the torch's effectiveness in melting precious metals such as gold, aluminum, zinc, and lead, providing the necessary heat for these materials to melt. The torch also offers a 2-stage switch, allowing users to control the gas flow and spark with ease, adding to its user-friendly design. However, some users expressed disappointment with the need to manipulate the switch frequently for it to function correctly. In terms of connection to propane tanks, users can connect it to larger tanks with the appropriate adapter, adding to its versatility and convenience. Additionally, the device includes large air/gas mixture ports to prevent backflow, reflecting the attention to safety and functionality. The overall reception of the Bernzomatic TS 8000 torch has been positive, with customers expressing satisfaction with its performance and pricing. However, some have criticized its initial cost, deeming it overpriced. **
