Graph Tech Saddles PS-9000-00 Editorial Review
The PT-9000-00 Black TUSQ XL Acoustic Saddle Blank has garnered positive attention from customers who appreciate its versatility, particularly for creating custom parts for guitars that may not have readily available aftermarket options. One customer recounted their challenge in sourcing the right nut for their vintage Ibanez Talman TC420 and found that, after exploring other avenues, the TUSQ saddle blank met their needs effectively. Despite requiring some crafting, shaping, and slotting, the product ultimately allowed them to create a nut that exceeded their expectations in performance. Users have noted the saddle’s adaptability, as it took well to modifications with tools like grinding wheels, proving resilient to melting or burning during the process. One customer remarked that after the necessary adjustments, it felt like they had a brand-new guitar. Several reviews highlighted the satisfaction of achieving a tailored fit and improved sound, especially when transitioning from lower-quality materials like plastic to TUSQ, which is known for enhancing tonal qualities. Overall, the reception of the PT-9000-00 Black TUSQ XL Acoustic Saddle Blank reflects a strong preference among users for a customizable component that meets specific needs despite the additional effort required for adjustments. It stands out as a practical solution for musicians seeking to upgrade or replace parts on unique or vintage instruments. **
