Folkcraft Dulcimer Accessories Editorial Review
The Mountain Dulcimer String Set has received mixed to positive feedback from customers, highlighting both the impressive sound quality and some challenges users encounter during installation. Many users praise the strings for their beautiful tone, particularly those transitioning from less compatible brands. One reviewer noted an immediate improvement in sound quality on their starter dulcimer, expressing enthusiasm for potentially purchasing more than just strings in the future. However, installation has proven to be somewhat cumbersome due to the stiffness of the strings, which can make them tricky to keep in place initially. A creative user suggested replacing screws with brass nails to ease this process, indicating that while the strings are of high quality, they may require some adaptation during installation. A few customers experienced quality issues; reports of strings breaking upon installation and inConsistent performance, such as the lack of silence that was expected, have drawn some negative attention. Additionally, customer service responsiveness has been questioned, with one reviewer mentioning a lack of reply from the company regarding their concerns. Overall, the Mountain Dulcimer String Set is appreciated for its tone and potential, but some users may need to prepare for a learning curve in handling and installation. **
