It has a fixed frequency of vertical motion, synchronized with spindle rotation and sanding disk. The spindle always runs and cannot be turned off when the disk is being used. It can be mounted on a benchtop and comes with its own stand. The maximum sleeve diameter that can be used is 2 inches. Overall, customers find that this spindle sander works well for most wood-sanding projects with its fixed frequency of movement. While the spindle always runs and cannot be turned off when the disk is in use, it does not interfere with the use of the disk.
