Auto Ventshade Side Window Wind Deflectors & Visors 194485 Editorial Review
The Auto Ventshade (AVS) In-Channel Rain Guards have received overwhelmingly positive feedback from customers who have purchased and installed them on their Honda CR-V models from 2012 to 2016. Many users highly appreciate the ease of installation, noting that the process takes only a few minutes per window when proper preparation, such as using the included alcohol wipes, is followed. The vent visors fit well, conform to the window's contours, and significantly enhance the vehicle's aesthetic appeal. While some customers have pointed out minor imperfections, such as small scratches on a few visors and a slight gap between the vent shades and chrome trim, most agree that these are negligible and do not detract from their overall satisfaction. Importantly, many users highlight that the main functionality of these visors—redirecting rainwater and allowing for slightly open windows without getting wet—works effectively. However, a few users have noted that the rear visors may permit water to enter when the windows are cracked open, which can be problematic in heavy rain. In terms of durability, customers report positive experiences over extended periods, with many noting no issues with lifting or peeling even after years of use in various weather conditions. Nonetheless, it’s advised to thoroughly clean the installation area to ensure maximum adherence, emphasizing the need for adequate cleaning prior to installation. Overall, the AVS In-Channel Rain Guards are praised for their value, effectiveness, and aesthetic enhancement, making them a solid choice for Honda CR-V owners looking to improve their vehicle’s functionality and style. **
