Preguntas y respuestas de los clientes

  • Pregunta: What is the material used in the ARP Flywheel Bolt Kit?

Respuesta: The ARP Flywheel Bolt Kit is constructed from high-quality Chromoly steel, which offers superior strength and durability. Chromoly is a popular choice in automotive applications due to its ability to withstand high levels of stress and heat, making these bolts ideal for performance engines. The Black Oxide finish further enhances corrosion resistance, ensuring the kit remains reliable even in demanding environments.
  • Pregunta: What thread size is the ARP Flywheel Bolt Kit?

Respuesta: The ARP Flywheel Bolt Kit features a thread size of 716-20, which is specifically engineered to provide a secure and precise fit for Small Block Ford engines. Matching the correct thread size is crucial to prevent stripping or other mechanical failures. These bolts are designed for easy installation and will provide the necessary clamping force for optimal engine performance.
  • Pregunta: How long are the bolts in the ARP Flywheel Bolt Kit?

Respuesta: Each bolt in the ARP Flywheel Bolt Kit is 0.925 inches long. This length is tailored to ensure proper seating in the flywheel while maintaining a secure hold under high torque conditions. The length is critical for achieving the right balance, as it ensures that the bolt is not too short to compromise the connection or too long to interfere with other engine components.

Respuesta: The bolts in the ARP Flywheel Bolt Kit come with a 12 Point Head. This design allows for enhanced torque application and better grip compared to standard hex heads. The high strength of Chromoly combined with the precise engineering of these bolts ensures they can endure the harsh conditions of racing. • Pregunta: Can I use these bolts for other engine types?

Respuesta: The ARP Flywheel Bolt Kit is specifically designed for Small Block Ford engines, and while the dimensions may allow for use in different applications, it is highly recommended to use components tailored for your specific engine type. Using the correct parts ensures safety and reliability while performing engine work, as well as optimal performance standards.
