Black Sabbath Format: Vinyl Rock Editorial Review
Black Sabbath's "Technical Ecstasy" album has been remastered and re-released in a deluxe box set edition. The remastered songs are excellent, and the album overall deserves more appreciation. The sound quality of the LP version is fantastic, bringing back the non-digitally compressed empty sound. The live CD included in the set has excellent sound quality, making it a valuable addition to the box set. The additional Ozzy vocals in the remix of "Dirty Women" can get tedious, but overall, the new stereo mixes are very good. The packaging of the box set is perfect, and all the promised goodies are included. If you're a serious Black Sabbath fan, this box set is worth the price.
