Nutritionist's Take
The OXO Good Grips Small Squeegee is primarily a cleaning tool rather than a food product, thus it doesn't offer any nutritional benefits per se. However, keeping kitchen surfaces, including sinks and countertops, clean helps in preventing the growth of harmful bacteria and pathogens, which can lead to foodborne illnesses. By keeping these areas dry and free from residue, the squeegee can significantly contribute to healthier cooking environments. A potential drawback is that if not cleaned properly, the squeegee itself could harbor germs. While it does not impact dietary needs directly, its role in maintaining hygiene is crucial for overall health. This tool is suitable for all households as good surface hygiene is a cornerstone of safe food preparation.
OXO Squeegees 12237300 Editorial Review
The OXO Good Grips Small Squeegee for Kitchen Sink, Dishes, and Countertops is a simple yet effective tool that helps clear plates, bowls, sheet pans, and kitchen counters of leftover food residue and water. It has a flexible outer part that can quickly clean non-stick pans and a white plastic part that is sturdy enough to remove food bits from pots without bending. It can also be put in the dishwasher, rinsed clean, and stored easily. Users love how this tool helps save on paper towels and cloth dish towels while keeping countertops more sanitary and preventing the spread of bacteria. However, some have noted that the rubber is too thick and not flexible enough to glide over water easily, resulting in additional wiping with pressure needed to remove water streaks. Overall, the OXO Good Grips Small Squeegee for Kitchen Sink, Dishes, and Countertops is a well-designed and useful kitchen tool that customers would recommend to others.
