Is head leather?
Answer: Hell no...99 % of heads are never leather..unless maybe you get a calftone special specific head..no drum is coming purchased that way..unless u spend some $ & change it yourself after u get it.. -

Does this have 1.6 hoops or 2.3 ?
Answer: These come wi8th 1.6 mm hoops. I suggest upgrading while you are changing out the unfortunate supplied heads. -

What is the post diameter of this drum model to mount?
Answer: I believe it’s 7/8”. Do not try to interchange it with another brand: does not work! -

Does this have a hoke in tge shell for tom moubt to go inside the shell?
Answer: No. The hex tom rod doesn't go in to the shell. It's short enough that it butts up to tom receiver if you need it to. If you need a longer rod, those are available from Yamaha as well. -
