K&S Technologies 12-0055 Off-Road Multi-Function Handlebar Switch

**Editorial Review** The K&S Technologies 12-0055 Off-Road Multi-Function Handlebar Switch has garnered a mix of feedback from customers, predominantly reflecting frustration regarding its fit and material quality. Many users intend to incorporate this switch into custom motorcycle builds and encounter compatibility issues, particularly with 7/8" handlebars. Numerous reviews indicate that the switch does not fit securely, leading to slippage and instability during use. Several customers have resorted to DIY fixes, such as using shims or adhesives to create a more secure attachment, but these solutions fall short of satisfying expectations for a purpose-designed product. Additionally, the switch's performance under load has raised concerns. A user reported that the switch could not handle a standard load for headlights without overheating, revealing potential shortcomings in its design regarding internal resistance and material robustness. Despite these issues, there are some redeeming features. Reviewers appreciate the slim profile of the switch, the pre-fitted connectors, and its overall aesthetic appeal when installed properly. However, challenges with customer service and assembly further mar the user experience. Customers noted insufficient support from K&S Technologies when seeking help with compatibility concerns. These problems suggest that while the switch has promise for custom builds, it may require Considerable tinkering and workaround solutions to achieve satisfactory results. **
